The folding ruler game is an ideal team exercise to make a continuous improvement process (CIP) tangible and learnable in small teams. Small groups (3-4 participants) are given the task of straightening a folding ruler bent at each corner, equipped with checker pieces on each joint, without letting the pieces fall off. The whole activity can be organized as a competition with up to three small groups.
